Women’s Sports Foundation ‘Annual Salute’

I recently returned from a trip to NYC to attend the Womens Sports Foundation Annual Salute. I was so excited to be apart of this event because it is an evening devoted to celebrating all the amazing women in sports. There is nothing like being in a room with 75 other professional accomplished women athletes! I got to meet some of my childhood idols like Michelle Kwan, Jessica Mendoza, and Summer Sanders, and connect with some of today’s top female athletes like Alex Morgan, Gabby Douglas, and Jessica Long. It was really fun to hear about how different all of our lives are, and yet how much we all have in common. The whole experience was really inspiring and made me realize how grateful I am to have found snowboarding as a kid, and have it as a career today.
