Well Austin’s female (and most of the male) population is all a-flutter at the moment. Stop the presses Ryan Gosling is in town. Don’t get me wrong, the dude is ridiculously good looking but people get cray cray over him.
The Couch had the opportunity to spend a couple days on set for the new Terrence Malick movie that’s being shot in Austin. I’m not entirely sure what it’s about other than some vague notion of a love triangle in the Austin music scene. I do, however, know that it has one of the craziest, most beautiful casts of all time. Natalie Portman, Michael Fassbender (good god), Ryan Gosling, and Rooney Mara. It was a pretty surreal 2 days. Extra work is not half as glamorous as you want it to be but being in a room with that many famous people is a trip.
Mr. Gosling did inspire some wall art in my new room.
Speaking of wall art, I also dabbled in some painting. Sooooo artistic.
In other news, The Couch is gearing up for a couple of busy months. We’re releasing a single off our full length this Thursday and have a new music video too! Check it out!
