The one jean that allows me to go back in time, to the 70′s, are these bad boys: my favorite Volcom high waisted “What the Twill Flare Jeans”. I love the pumpkin shade. They’re a little too perfect for my weekend getaway to Woodstock don’t you think? They’re a little Jane Birkin, they’re a little Janis, and they’re a whole lot of perfect. I loved getting to play hippie even if it was just for a few days. We found ourselves eating at local vegan cafes and becoming one with the locals. Before nightfall, I felt like a kid in the woods, kicking leaves and hiking through the neighboring mountains. My bum and legs are still sore from all the trekking!! Anyways, it is clear that Woodstock is like a little Halloween town during October. The little colorful homes are covered in leaves, complete with adorable little pumpkins at every doorstep. I fell in love with this place..the cooky characters and the impeccable taste in music. This sleepy town escape was just what I needed!
