Hi guys! My name is Quincy and I’m 17 years old. I am from a small town called Montauk in New York. Montauk is on the coast so I’ve grown up around the ocean for most of my life. I also spend some of my time in Rincon, Puerto Rico where again I live by the ocean, you can basically say the ocean is a big part of my life. I’ve been going to the beach as long as I can remember, picked up surfing at age 7 and haven’t stopped since. Now with surf contests, photo trips and travel for my sponsors I have the opportunity to travel the world doing what I love.. Surfing and exploring new places.
Aside from surfing… my other major love is fashion and being able to dress up! One of the coolest fashion cities in the world is a train ride away from me, the big, amazing, crazy NYC!! With my interest in fashion and design, this past year I’ve worked on an exciting design project with Volcom where I designed my first capsule collection for the Spring 2013 and Summer 2013 seasons. My designs we’re based around my love of fashion and my own personal style. I can’t wait to share more of my own collection with you during the course of my blog postings. This is the first of a series of weekly blog posts that I’ll be doing for Volcomunity over the next six months… you’ll be able to get an inside glimpse to the places I go, the fashion I love, surfing, my designs and the life of simply just being me!
This was an outtake from my Spring 2013 collection shoot with Volcom that launches in stores in November… so excited!
We went on a team trip to Costa Rica with Volcom, fun days with the team girls and some good beach breaks.
Obviously, being a surfer I live in my swim… I’m obsessed with having new Volcom swimsuits all the time… it’s my office work attire.
One of my besties is also another Volcom team rider, Coco Ho.

Volcom did a big swim fashion show up in LA, this was a team dinner before the show started…we got all dressed up and had all the girls Elena, Lyn-z, Bryn, Coco, Danielle and me.
