The Nitro Circus Live Show is going to be touring Europe (and I’m in it)!!!
We have toured Australia 3 times, New Zealand once, and weeks of practice/rehearsals adding up to over 5 months total. As you could probably imagine The Nitro Circus Live cast/crew have become quite a tight knit “family”!. On our 5th official tour we are headed across the pond. This will be our first tour to Europe, our first tour with language barriers, and our most grooling schedule yet! Although with all that said it will also be our most exciting tour! With a show almost every day in a different city and or country it will for sure take a tole on our bodies. Little sleep and lots of traveling will be very challenging but most of all I’m wondering how the track crew will assemble, disassemble, and transport the ramps so quickly. This will be a true test of how much we “love” each other and what we do (our sports, jobs, ect.).
As you can see… One big tight family, I’m down in front!
On this tour (like all the other tours as well) I will be skating “The Giganta Ramp”. This is the skate, bmx, big wheel, wheel chair, rollerblade, roller skis, scooter, and shanangigigs side of the show! It is a 60ish foot tall roll in with a 30′ gap with a movable take off also making a 40′ gap on one side and a 50′ gap on the other side. Then it has a “ressi” landing consisting of a normal landing covered in a 1′ thick pad with a 3″ thick hard plastic over it. This creates a much softer landing then a normal wood landing. With all the random craziness and everyone pushing the limits of their sport each night its a necessity to have this “ressi” landing. After you land you then run straight into a huge air bag! The air bag is kind of fun but gets hectic when you do a train of 15 people in a row, bikes, trikes, and skateboards flying everywhere!
