I used to see designer towels, you know the typical Missoni beach towels or Etro towels at “cottage” stores and think “who would ever pay the price they’re asking for”? Well, this was before I got my very own Missoni beach towel and lived in it from April to October… literally it went everywhere I went. I quickly fell in love with this piece of weaved cotton– was it knowing how much this towel cost? Was it the uber cool factor of having an identifiable expensive piece? Was it the striking colors that never seemed to fade and the soft thick weave of the towel that dried every drop of water off me? I still don’t know what it is that makes a towel so special (or for that fact, make one pay the price they do for one) but I do know I love my designer towel!
