Day 1 back in Tokyo began with the friendly limousine bus dropping me to a hotel in Roppongi where Mai was waiting. We trudged through the steamy rain with my luggage back to her and Michelle’s apt, I “freshened up” before we met up with Nadia and Jan for sushi dinner and beeru’s. Next day Mish and I headed into Shibuya to find a badge maker. Tokyu Hands is the place with everything one could ever dream of, including coloured wigs, fake facial hair and Lady Gaga masks- (see below). That night a whole bunch of us went to karaoke and danced the night away….
