Looks like the past few weekend have been full of thrifting and
vintage scoring adventures. My friends and I road tripped to a flea
market called Gold Nugget Flea in Lambertville, New Jersey one day. We all crowded into the back of my friend’s minivan that has no back seats (totally illegal, yet totally cool). We lounged on pillows and blankets, chowing on Wawa hoagies and sipping on coffee and Gatorade.
We woke up incredibly early on a Saturday morning to see if we couldscore the best deals at the flea. The place was was an antique lover’s paradise, full of old school knick knacks and furniture, originating from every past decade. If I had more room in my house, I definitely would have looked harder to score some amazing pieces like a white washed dresser, or an eccentrically decorated chair. Instead, I snagged up a multicolor crochet pullover and a vintage hand crocheted blanket to decorate my bed with. I was a happy girl.
I definitely left the place feeling inspired to develop more of an interior decorating eye. This just calls for another trip back someday very, very soon.
