I’ve really been getting nostalgic for actual film. There’s nothing colder than the letters .JPG to me. I miss flipping through all my photos from summer camp sessions or vacations. Instead I find myself lurking on friends’ Facebook in hopes that their various albums will in some way suffice. They don’t and most of the time I just feel like a creepy voyeur.
My dad “gave” me his old Konica a year or two ago. I’ve never really been into photography but in this digital age it’s nice to have a physical copies of moments in your life. A lot of my photos don’t come out but here are a few that I love of people that I love.
Many of these are from my good friend Angela’s vintage store launch party. Check out A Dear in the Works and be sure to ‘like’ them on Facebook.

Go buy a camera and take photos. You won’t regret it in 20 years when all we have is Facebook.
