In the last few months I suppose I’ve had what you would call “adult realization” moments. Not only am I about to turn 25, but several close friends and family members have received life altering news (for good and bad). I feel a ripple effect anytime stuff like this happens and to be honest it lights a gigantic fire under my ass. I’m sad beyond belief for my family and a part of me is so mad at life right now for being a real bitch to people that I care about but when I see how fast life can happen, how swiftly plans can just be royally ruined, I get bolder. It’s time to flex some life muscles Sara – you’re gonna be 25 for god’s sake.

Setting all of the motivational stuff aside, I’ve also realized how lucky I am. I rarely have a weekend off but this weekend I had 3 uninterrupted days of recording music with people I love. Here are some photos of The Couch at 5th Street Studios courtesy of J. Sattler.
