What I love most about living in such a walkable city like Philadelphia is that there is so much inspiration on the streets themselves.
Around each corner, even on the most mundane and quiet of streets, I can be sure to find a wall painted every color of the rainbow, melding together a story of history, modern culture, and just a pure love of color and shapes all together. It makes even the most lazy of afternoon strolls or even a forced early morning run around the city that much brighter. I live literally a block away from the murals I photographed for this post. It’s rewarding to know that I live in a city that appreciates its art and isn’t afraid to push the limits of what it means to express one’s self. Thank you Philly for that.
