I feed on images and a lot of them. The way I look at images on the net is like the way I work: Uninterrupted and fairly compulsively. I jump from one tumblr to the next until I realise I am on flickr all of a sudden and then on some random website I would never have found otherwise. A couple of months ago, I realised that my research led me to stumble upon the same images over and over again, at months apart and I started saving those for myself. One of the oldest images I have is this amazing and playful dress.

As I was researching a new project I was doing for fashion week a couple of weeks ago, I stumbled upon this new image and connected the dots: I had seen that sculptural type of garnment before.

It had to be from that same designer : Sandra Backlund.

Sandra Backlund is a young swedish knitwear designer from Stockholm. She has an almost sculptural approach to design and I am in love.
Her creations are such a delight to look at. Playful and crazy, very sexy and with a lot of attitude.

The perfection of those shapes is just incredible and I would LOVE to own one of her creations one day.
